Webshops

A webshop you can actually run yourself

We build webshops on established platforms rather than coding one from scratch. You get a shop that can be updated without a developer - and that does not stall if we ever disagree about something.

Who it suits

Businesses selling physical goods that want to manage the shop themselves.

  • Smaller producers and brands
  • Shops that want to sell online alongside the counter
  • Specialist shops with a manageable range
  • Businesses selling through messages or by phone today

What it solves

Sales outside opening hours

The shop takes orders when you are closed.

You control the range

Products, prices and stock are edited in the platform's own admin.

Payment and delivery set up properly

The customer can pay and choose shipping without dropping off along the way.

It works on mobile

Most purchases start on a phone.

What can be included

The base setup covers what is needed to start selling.

  • Shopify or another agreed platform
  • Product catalogue setup
  • Cart and checkout
  • Payment setup
  • Delivery setup
  • Mobile optimisation
  • Basic SEO
  • A short handover on running the shop

How it works

1. Range

We look at the products, the variants and how they should be grouped.

2. Platform

We agree the platform based on the range and how you want to work.

3. Setup

Shop, payment and shipping are configured.

4. Products in

Basic product setup, so the shop can open.

5. Testing

We place real test orders before the shop opens.

6. Opening

The domain is pointed over and the shop goes live.

What can affect the price

Webshops vary more than ordinary websites.

  • Number of products and variants
  • Whether product data and images already exist
  • Special shipping or VAT requirements
  • Integration with stock or accounting systems
  • More than one language or currency
  • Subscription or membership sales

Frequently asked questions

Which platform do you use?
Usually Shopify, because it is stable and easy to run yourself. Another platform can be agreed if there is a reason for it.
Is the platform subscription included?
No. The platform subscription and payment fees are paid directly to the provider and sit outside our price.
Do you build your own payment system?
No. Payment is handled by established providers through the platform - that is both safer and cheaper than a bespoke solution.
Can you load all my products?
Basic product setup is included. Large ranges are agreed separately, since that is time spent rather than setup.
